Ben gets a job as a watchman – you need to guard the ruins of a burnt-out department store, which can become a desirable target for looters. However, in the midst of the devastation, the hero finds mirrors that are practically unaffected, beginning to behave strangely. In the ending, it seems that Ben has already coped with all the difficulties, but it turns out that his victory is just an illusion.

However, a risky operation solves the problem – the man not only recovers, but also finds the love of his life. There remains only one difficulty – David ceases to understand where reality is and where visions are.

During its existence, the film “Mist” became truly legendary. And it’s not about the director’s genius Darabonta and the wonderful play of the actors – it is the ending that is impressive. The script simply drives the protagonist into a dead-end situation, from which even an experienced viewer does not see a way out. Salvation turns out to be much closer than one might suppose, only this fact ceases to matter when we become aware of it.

The rest of the movie is far from the scariest and tensest. Today it is hardly possible to frighten anyone with dense fog and monsters that look like dinosaurs. The highlight of the tape in human relationships also deserves special attention, the amazing denouement that beats right in the heart.

Even in the head of the notorious dreamer, it could not have occurred that the creators of the picture would leave the father of the protagonist to live in the basement of the mansion. Also really surprising is the action scene closer to the denouement, which was also not readable in any way.

However, if you are already an adult, an accomplished person, and your fictitious comrade is an anarchist and the creator of the Mayhem project, it is time to think about a split personality. David fincher left us hooks so that the viewer could predict the ending, but they are so well hidden that full awareness comes only shortly before the denouement.

The character Edward Norton, “White collar”, gets acquainted with Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt), an infantile young man who lives for his own pleasure. The guys become friends and founders of a fight club where people relieve stress after work through fist fights.

The organization is rapidly evolving, transforming from an innocent entertainment into a real force to be reckoned with. Only at the end do we realize that Tyler is the protagonist’s alter-ego, and he alone managed to unite people under the banner of fighting the consumer essence of society.
