Codemasters is a fairly well-known company that has released several IPs. The most successful of these, however, was the Colin McRae Rally. DIRT 5 is the 14th part of it, which speaks of long life this brand.
However, do not forget about the DIRT series itself. In it, this game is eighth, which also indicates good support for the project.
Now – about the game itself. The developers offer races around the world to compete for more than 70 unique tracks. And for their passage, the player is provided with many cars. Among them, you can find machines specifically for rally, fireballs GT-class, SUVs racing type as well buggy and muscle cars…
The soundtrack in this game is great. The developers of Codemasters have tried here by hiring megapopular voice actors: Troy Baker (Death Stranding’s Higgs, The Last of Us’s Joel, Far Cry 4’s Pagan Min, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’s Ocelot), and Nolan North (Nathan Drake from Uncharted, Desmond Miles in Assassin’s Creed). The graphics are also significantly better and more realistic, which enhances the feeling of immersion in the game world.
By the way, about multiplayer – there is the possibility of a local session for up to four users on one screen using Split-Screen technologies… This helps to diversify the gameplay a lot. You just need to stock up on enough gamepads.
