Methods for solving error 0x887A0006
Method number 1 Launch the Origin launcher from the Administrator
Some users reported that they managed to get rid of error 0x887A0006 by running the Origin Launcher client as Administrator. Go to the root folder of the launcher and find the executable file Origin.exe. Right click on it and select “Run as administrator”.
Check if the error has disappeared. Of course, such a solution will only work if you launch something from Origin, nevertheless, we recommend that you launch the toy itself from the admin. Do everything exactly as shown above, but only with the executable file (.exe) of the game.
Method # 2 Modifying the Registry (Apex Legends)
It turns out that this particular error can be caused by a conflict between the recently released graphics card drivers and the Apex Legends engine. Don’t want to rollback your video driver? Then you need to “tinker” a little in the Windows Registry Editor.
Press on the Windows keyboard + R to bring up the “Run” window in front of you. Next, write in an empty line of the window notepad and press Enter. Once in Notepad, paste the following values into it:

If you still have 32-bit Windows on your computer, then paste these values into Notepad:

Now click on the “File” item in the menu bar and select “Save As …”. You can name the file whatever you want – it doesn’t matter, but make sure to change its extension from .txt to .reg.
Once the reg file is created, run it and confirm your intentions in the dialog box that appears. After adding keys and values to the system registry, restart your computer and try to launch Apex Legends. Error 0x887A0006 shouldn’t bother you anymore.
Method # 3 Recovering the Origin game
The files of the game you are launching in Origin may have been corrupted in some way. In this case, you need to use the restore function. Open the Origin launcher and go to your game library.
Click on the icon of the toy RMB you need and select the “Restore” option. Now you should just wait for the recovery process to complete, which can take about an hour and a half, depending on the hardware of your computer.
Method # 4 Rollback the video driver
Another rather effective method is the failure of the driver for the graphics accelerator. Perhaps the new version of the driver is extremely unstable with the game you are launching. So, press Windows + R, then write devmgmt.msc and press Enter. With the Device Manager open in front of you, expand the “Video adapters” section.
Right click on your video card and go to device properties. Now switch to the “Driver” tab and click on the “Roll Back” button. Then just follow the instructions on the screen to roll back the video driver to the previous version. Check if error 0x887A0006 is gone.
Method # 5 Reset graphics card overclocking
