Users are quite active in reporting the appearance of error code 327682: 11. The problem appears when trying to install a game published by EA. Most of the cases refer to Origin games downloaded from the official store. In this case, the error appears in all current versions of Windows, starting with the “seven”.
What causes error 32768211?
Based on the results of researching the problem itself and how to fix it, it was possible to understand several causes of the problem. Potential culprits include …
- Damage to original files. Most often, the problem appears precisely because of damage to some important data in the game folder. The application simply cannot use the problematic file, instead throwing an error. If the situation is applicable to a specific case, it is possible to correct it.
- Origins lacks administrator rights. In some cases, the application does not require elevated rights. However, there are also those games that can only be run as an administrator. These mainly include read-only files. Launching the application with full rights will help fix the problem.
- Some files cannot be downloaded from the network. Due to the peculiarities of the security system and imperfect network addresses of files, some of the data may be inaccessible. The Origins client can stop downloading files for various reasons, which leads to an incomplete installation of the game. There is an option to fix the situation by booting in safe mode.
- A firewall installed on the system is blocking downloads. By the way, other antivirus solutions can also cause the problem. Their work is aimed at protecting the system, and downloading some files is perceived as a threat. To avoid the error, it makes sense to turn off all Windows protections in advance while downloading the game.
- There are not enough rights for EAProxyInstaller. One of the EAProxyInstaller auxiliary executables requires elevated privileges to run. Administrator privileges can be a prerequisite for launching. Running as an admin user should fix the problem.
Method 1: reinstall Origin and re-download the game
The vast majority of users who encountered the problem reported that reinstalling Origins helped them. Initially, it is worth deleting all Origins files, including residual ones, and then reinstalling the client. It is best to change the installation path before reinstalling the game.

Method 2: launch Origin with administrator rights
It has been repeatedly reported that issuing high privileges to the Origin application helps in the fight against error 32768211. There is a high probability that administrator rights are needed to override or change some of the files. The system blocks an attempt to use a protected file, as a result – error 32768211 appears. If the script is applicable in this situation, you just need to configure the game shortcut to run with administrator rights.
Instructions for implementation:
- Close Origin completely (check that there is no minimized tray icon).
- Minimize all open windows of other applications so that the desktop is visible.
- Right click on the executable file of the application and select “Properties”.
- In the file settings, go to the “Compatibility” page and check the box next to “Run this program as administrator”.
- Click on the “Apply” button to save the configuration.
- Reopen the application and try to download the game again, which previously ended with error 32768211.
Method 3: Boot in Safe Mode
If the download or installation is blocked by security systems, the best solution is to switch to Safe Mode. Typically, such a solution helps the system to reserve the process and protect against interference from third-party utilities.
Guide to action:
- Open the application client by double clicking.
- In the main Origin menu, click on your account name in the left corner and go to Application Settings.
- In the Application Settings section, go to the Diagnostics section and scroll down to the Troubleshooting section.
- Activate the switch responsible for booting in safe mode.
- After the line “changes saved” appears, close the client.
- Right-click on the file and activate the “Run as administrator” element.
- Try to download the game again.
Method 4: disable the firewall while downloading the game
If the reader has already done so many steps and still does not achieve the expected result, then turning off the firewall can help. Most likely, the security tool is blocking the download, but if you disable it, everything will go smoothly. The method has proved to be effective both in the case of the built-in Windows firewall and other antiviruses.
Method for disabling Windows Firewall (something similar should be done with a third-party antivirus):
- Exit the Origin client completely.
- Press the key combination Windows + R, insert ms-settings: windowsdefender and press Enter.
- From the Windows Security section, go to the Security Scopes tab and select Firewall and Network Protection.
- Click on the active network icon.
- On the next screen, disable the Windows Defender Firewall item. Most likely, you will need to confirm the action in the user account control system.
- After turning off the firewall, open the original client and try to download the game again.
- If everything started working correctly, it is worth following steps 2-5, but this time to enable the protection system.
Method 5: run EAProxyInstaller with administrator rights
Sometimes a specific EAProxyInstaller executable is causing the problem. It is called by the main application file. This minor element requires administrator rights to function properly.
Quick guide:
- Open Explorer and go to the directory where Origin is installed. By default, this is C: Program Files (x86) Origin, but may differ.
- Find the element EAProxyInstaller.exe from the list of files.
- Right-click and select “Properties”.
- In the “Compatibility” section, check the box next to “Run as administrator”.
- Click on the “Apply” button to save the changes.
- Launch the Origins application itself with administrator rights.
