A few days ago, the sets of maps from the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 DLC were leaked. According to the information received from the leak, two variable maps with the names “Height” and “Madagascar” will appear in the add-on. For the zombie regime, the “Night of the Dead” card was released. The list of maps indicates that the release of the offer to purchase the new DLC on the PlayStation 4 was planned for December 11, but was delayed. By mistake, the developers released new maps before the full release of the add-on.
The developers at Treyarch responded with an official Twitter comment. They confirmed their desire to roll out the offer for the purchase of DLC on December 11th. Of course, they did not succeed, they did it unexpectedly, but still.
“We know that many have already seen individual footage from the pre-release version of the Black Ops 4 maps. The content of the add-on in some regions appeared slightly ahead of schedule,” according to Twitter. “The real, publicly available DLC offer will be released on December 11th. It will be accompanied by a new trailer. Stay tuned for updates and don’t chase spoilers. “

On its Twitter page some users from Austria have posted screenshots of the maps. True, it was not possible to fully explore the location, because a critical error appears and throws it out of the game. It’s okay to look around on the maps after launching the patch.
The map for the zombie mode “Night of the Dead” was leaked a few days earlier. Presumably, there was a stellar component here:
- Kiefer Sutherland (his help has already been used in Call of Duty: World at War);
- Helen Bonham Carter (from Harry Potter and Fight Club);
- Charles Dance (from Game of Thrones);
- Brian Blessed (from Flash Gordon).
From other leaks there was information that a lot of actions will unfold in a mansion with werewolves, ghosts, hidden cameras, etc. image confirms that the mansion will indeed become an important part of the map.
This add-on will be the first for Black Ops Pass holders. It includes 12 multiplayer maps, 4 zombie campaigns and 3 new characters. Today the add-on costs $ 50. You need to either buy all the DLC or nothing, since the items are not sold separately.
The add-on is coming to PlayStation 4 a week earlier than the rest of the platforms. PC and Xbox One owners will have to wait another week after the release on PS4.
