We once again got the opportunity to watch our favorite heroes and villains, as well as enjoy the colorful attraction, which, in fact, are comic book adaptations. You don’t have to be a comic book fan to recognize the famous meme that has gone viral online. Willem Dafoe Character, The Green Goblin says “You know, I’m kind of a scientist myself” in the 2002 Spider-Man movie.. Over the years, we have remembered this event, stumbling across the Internet for another interpretation of the quote.

However, the creators of the film “Spider-Man: No Way Home” decided to revive the legend and repeat the phrase in their film. Experts say that the Green Goblin is one of the most successful villains in the universe. And yet it is unclear whether Willem Dafoe was invited to the project for this reason or just for the sake of the Easter egg? Probably both versions have the right to life.

Appearance of Matt Murdock

Spiderman: No way home. Matt Murdoch. Daredevil

As you know, Matt Murdock is Spider-Man’s lawyer and part-time vigilante, Daredevil. However, the character has been given very little screen time so far. The character played by Charlie Cox appeared exclusively in the series, although many fans wanted to see him in a larger project.

The creators of the tape heard the fans and introduced Murdoch to the film “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” It was made as an “easter egg”, which is sure to please not only fans of the series, but also connoisseurs of the original comics.

Doctor Strange sweatshirt

Have you ever wondered why such a powerful magician as Doctor Strange wears a banal sweatshirt from a nearby second-hand store? Many attributed this detail to the original humor of the creators of the MCU, but upon closer examination it becomes clear that the jacket is a subtle hint of obvious circumstances.

The hoodie bears the inscription “Columbia University”. This is not just because from the comics we it becomes known that the doctor graduated from this particular educational institution. Probably, Strange has kept a good memory of his Alma mater and does not miss the opportunity to put on his favorite little thing.

Andrew Garfield saves MJ

As you know, in the movie “Spider-Man: No Way Home” 3 Peter Parkers took part at once, who gathered from alternative universes. The character of Garfield certainly did not become superfluous, since it was he who happened to save MJ, the girlfriend of the hero Tom Holland. However, an unprepared viewer could fall into a stupor when he saw Andrew’s excessive emotionality.

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Garfield’s character failed to save his lover in a similar situation. Gwen Stacy died as a result of the fall, and this moment was re-shot almost frame by frame. This time, Spider-Man managed to save the girl, but looking into the eyes of MJ, he probably saw the image of Gwen in front of him.

Appearance of Eddie Brock

Venom. Eddie Brock

Now fast forward to the next scene after the credits, because they have become a kind of feature of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There we notice Eddie Brock, who suddenly appeared in the current reality. Tom Hardy’s Venom carefully listens to the bartender’s story about the events of the Infinity Saga. The piquancy of the situation is that Brock was probably discouraged by the information received, since it is not easy to fit in the head of an uninitiated person.

In any case, the appearance of Venom, who, after a few moments, returned to his reality, angered the fans of the series. Probably, many would like Eddie to become a full-fledged participant in one of the future projects.

Rogers: The Musical

You already understood that now we will talk about Steve Rogers, who was the first Captain America. In the film, the character is invisibly present as a poster for the musical. We see the corresponding advertisement for the production at the beginning of the picture, when Peter Parker tried to get rid of excessive attention to his person.

Fans throughout the entire duration of the tape expected that there would be additional information about this musical, but the creators limited themselves to posters. However, it’s nice that in the MCU there are reminders of past events that cause many a sense of nostalgia.

Consequence Control Department

Spiderman: No way home. Tony Stark

We have not forgotten about one more hero who has not been with us for a long time. It’s about Tony Stark, he sacrificed his life in Avengers: Endgame. Despite the character’s death, Company Consequence Control Department continues to exist and even interrogates Peter Parker.

The organization itself deals with the elimination of the consequences of conflicts. It is implied that it is superheroes who cause the damage, because it certainly does not need a whole department to control the destruction caused by ordinary people.

Queensboro Bridge

Spiderman: No way home. Peter Parke and MJ

Many drew attention to the scene in which Peter Parker jumps off the Queensboro bridge with his terrified girlfriend. The shots turned out so well that they were widely used for marketing purposes before the release of the picture. At first glance, nothing special, Spider-Man has always been prone to adventurous acts.

However, fans quickly realized why this scene was needed. In the first Spider-Man movie, MJ is thrown off the same bridge by the Green Goblin. You should not be so naive as to consider this fact a banal coincidence – we have an Easter egg in front of us.

Doctor Strange spell

Now let’s remember how it all began. History, in fact, was launched when Doctor Strange cast a spell that should make everyone forget who Parker is. While Cumberbatch’s character is doing magic, Peter gets into a debate with him and asks a few people to keep the knowledge he has learned.

This scene appeared for a reason – it’s a reference to the original comics. There, according to the plot, Parker also tried to protect MJ from the effects of a similar Strange spell.

You are amazing!

Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Collage

Obviously, the main feature of the film “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is the ability to contemplate 3 generations of heroes at once. It was this prospect that brought Marvel fans into indescribable delight, and the creators of the tape prepared something really interesting. While on the Statue of Liberty, Maguire tells Garfield several times that he is amazing.. An uninitiated viewer will simply miss this moment on deaf ears, but a true fan knows what’s up.

Opinions are divided – many think that this is just a tribute to the film “The Amazing Spider-Man”, in which Garfield played. However, we remember that the tape with Andrew in the lead role is considered one of the worst in the history of the superhero. Perhaps Maguire’s phrases are a way to cheer up and convince a colleague of the viability of the latter.
