Nioh 2 crashes

Some players claim that Nioh 2 crashes at random moments in the game. There are many reasons for this – there are just as many potential solutions. First, you should disable all third-party software running in the background of the system. The most common culprits in this situation are MSI Afterburner, RGB lighting software, mouse and keyboard software, and so on. Also, do not forget to deactivate the overlay for Nioh 2 in the Steam settings.

Secondly, try returning the frequencies of the processor and video card to their factory values if you were overclocking them. Perhaps the last time you overdid it and now the system behaves extremely unstable under load. And as we know from the system requirements, Nioh 2 is another load.

Third, keep in mind that Nioh 2 is a new PC game and therefore requires up-to-date video drivers. Use the following links to update your drivers:

XInput1_4.dll is missing from Nioh 2 DLL errors

Nioh 2 players are reporting various DLL errors missing. Most often, when starting the game, errors occur about the following files:

  • XInput1_4.dll
  • API-MS-Win-Eventing-ClassicProvider-L1-1-0.dll
  • api-ms-win-core-sysinfo-l1-2-1.dll

To get rid of such errors, you need to tackle updating Microsoft Visual C ++, DirectX and .NET Framework. All necessary installers can be found on the official Microsoft website, however, here’s a small bunch of useful links:

Once you install the correct libraries, XInput1_4.dll and other similar errors should disappear when starting Nioh 2.

Nioh 2 freezes on loading screen

A small proportion of Nioh 2 players complain that their game freezes on the loading screen. To fix this, you need to restart your computer. Apparently, this problem occurs due to some kind of bug with Steam. If this does not help, then be sure to check the integrity of the game files, because some of them may have been damaged during loading.

Error 3: 0000065432 in Nioh 2

When launching Nioh 2, you may receive error 3: 0000065432, which prevents the game from working properly. If you believe the statements on the network, there are two ways to fix the error: by running the game as administrator and by disabling the antivirus. We recommend doing them one at a time to understand what works and what doesn’t.

Black screen, slowing down, low FPS in Nioh 2

All of the above problems are usually caused by outdated graphics drivers. Use the following links to download and install the latest drivers for your graphics card:

However, low FPS and stuttering can be caused by an insufficiently powerful computer. However, even players who have beast machines at home complain about poor performance in Nioh 2. Simply put, the game can simply be “crooked” optimized and nothing can be done about it.
