Up instead of nerf Progetto 46 and EBR 75 (FL 10)

The developers found a way to avoid violating the agreement, while maintaining the performance characteristics and at the same time carrying out the nerf.

Up instead of nerf Progetto 46 and EBR 75 (FL 10)

Hello tankers! Wotpack is with you, and one of the most discussed topics of patch 1.10 is on the agenda – nerfing of Italian CTs and French wheel-drivers.

It all started with the fact that the developers decided to rebalance:

  • nerf the performance characteristics of Italian STs of level 9 and 10, and also prohibit the rammer on tanks with a drum recharging mechanism (starting from level 8 including Progetto 46);
  • with wheeled vehicles the sutuation is simpler, they also decided to reduce the performance characteristics and also revise the general mechanics of wheel damage (it was this moment that affected the EBR 75 (FL 10) premiere).

It’s no secret that Prodgetto is one of the most imposing ST premiums due to the high firepower and the uniqueness of the reloading mechanism, which allows you to play like a regular tank from cyclic reloading or discharge the entire magazine of three shells at once, if the opportunity presents itself. Therefore, to reduce damage per minute – removed the rammerProgetto 46

It would be a significant nerf, as it would take too long to reload with minimal alpha. So it’s not surprising that there was a wave of indignation among the players. If EBR 75 (FL 10) many have received is free or at a discount for a marathon, then Progetto 46 all paid real money

Now let’s go over the facts of the rebalance:

  • rammer already exactly 100% take away Italian STs have levels 8 to 10;
  • introduce compensation for Progetto 46 – speed up the basic reload.

For comparison, look at the data in the table:Recharge comparison Progetto 46

Simply put, we got already built-in standard rammer, at the same time a slot for equipment was freed up. To speed up reloading, they did not use a captured or boom rammer, so as not to make the tank excessively effective.

This is definitely an excellent solution from the developers and looks especially interesting against the background of the release of Equipment 2.0. I already ran Progetto 46 on the test and tried out the new module “Turbocharger”… With him mobility became much more pleasant, this is what I missed so much on him:Turbocharged Progetto

However, you can get by with the installation of “Enlightened Optics”, if for someone the priority is the view or the crew without Radio Interception and Eagle’s Eye. With the French LT EBR 75 (FL 10), the issue was solved easier – they just canceled the nerf for him. That is, a new mechanic of inflicting damage to the wheels is introduced into the game, but it will not be affected. Individual physics settings will be made for him, so he will be played in the same way as now.
