Respawn’s new Apex Legends has clearly surpassed even the developers’ wildest expectations for popularity. Due to the huge number of players, there were problems with crashes of the game on the PC. The network is simply not designed for such a large number of players. We ourselves were faced with an emergency closing of the game, so we decided to fix the problem. Sleight of hand and a little luck helped us fix this problem.
How do I fix crashes?
To date, there is no reliable information about the reasons for departures, but we know a temporary solution to the problem.
Follow the instructions:
- Open Origin without launching Apex Legends.
- You can turn off the network connection through the “Network Control Center …” (RMB on the active connection and select “Disconnect”) or simply pull out the cable. Another easy option is to turn off Wi-Fi.
- Open the game and wait until it loads. A window should appear stating that there is no network access.
- Restore internet connection. The most convenient option is to return the Ethernet cable to its connector. You will have to wait a bit to re-establish the connection. If the disconnection was performed programmatically, you need to minimize the game and enable access to the network.
Now it should be possible to connect to the game servers and enjoy the gameplay. The method has already been tested on several computers, and it has shown a positive result. We hope this method will help you too.
