Grounded is a new project from Obsidian Entertainment and Xbox Game Studios in which you will face the horrors of the backyard with your friends. At the moment, the game is in the early access stage on Steam, and therefore the presence of various technical problems is quite expected. It is hoped that the developers will fix many of the problems of their game for its official release.
Speaking of problems, today we are going to tell you about the most common problems with Grounded and how to solve them.
Grounded system requirements
First of all, let’s take a look at the system requirements for Grounded, because, as a rule, many problems arise from the fact that the user’s computer simply does not pull the toy out.
- Requires 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 7 (SP1) 64bit
- Processor: Intel Core i3-3225
- RAM: 4 GB of RAM
- Video card: Nvidia GTX 650 Ti
- Disk space: 8 GB
As you can see, the system requirements for the new Grounded are extremely fast.
Grounded crashes on startup
If you get Grounded crashes as soon as you start it, try running Steam File Integrity Checker and disabling Windows Defender Firewall. Also, keep in mind that many new toys require up-to-date video drivers, DirectX and Microsoft Visual C ++.
To run an integrity check on Grounded files, do the following:
- right click on Grounded in the Steam library;
- select game properties and go to the “Local files” tab;
- click on the button “Check integrity of game files”.
Microsoft account error in Grounded
Faced a Microsoft account error when trying to launch Grounded? Don’t worry, just change your Microsoft account password. If the error still appears, then you definitely need to contact the technical support of the “small soft” and find out from them what, in fact, the problem lies.
Low FPS / Brakes in Grounded
The most obvious thing is to try lowering the graphics quality in Grounded. Yes, the system requirements are extremely democratic, but we are dealing with an early access game, and therefore performance problems are quite expected. You can also try updating the drivers for your video card.
Multiplayer not available in Grounded
Some players claim that they are having problems with multiplayer in Grounded: sometimes they cannot become a lobby host, and sometimes they cannot join an already created lobby. Obsidian Entertainment is already aware of this problem and they are trying to fix it.
Endless loading into Grounded
Endless downloads in multiplayer games sometimes occur because the user’s antivirus or firewall is blocking certain connections. Add Grounded to your antivirus / firewall exceptions and then check if the game loads normally.
We remind you: Grounded is in the early access stage on Steam – all of the above and other problems with the game may be fixed over time by the developers themselves.
