This game has a huge number of heroes, including those who fight for good. However, among them there are the most effective and interesting ones that you need to add to your army first.
Star Wars: Galaxy Of Heroes, like most games in the Star Wars franchise, divides its factions into the Light and Dark Side of the Force. Some gameplay features are only available to units with certain characters, so having special units on both sides of the barricades is important for progress.
Light side units are formed from heroes Galactic Republic, Old Republic, Rebels, Resistance and Jedi. Some of these factions are more powerful than others, but they can only fight the dark side effectively together. Here are 10 of the best characters who gave their lives to serve the Light Side.
Ezra Bridger first appeared in Star Wars: Rebelsand he might seem like an odd contender for the TOP as he is not that strong compared to other Light Side heroes. However, this guy is versatile, and this is his important distinguishing feature.… Ezra is irreplaceable in the Phoenix squad, which is required to unlock Grand Admiral Thrawn in the Painter of War Legendary Event.
Ezra is not only a vital member of this group, he is also one of the few characters that can be used on other teams. This guy is especially valuable as a Jedi attacker, and its special ability removes buffs from enemies… Shards of Ezra can be obtained from battles for the Cantina, making him the best hero for any beginner player.
Jolie is one of the few SWGoH characters not found in Star Wars canon. He appeared in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic as a moody Gray Jedi. Even though KotOR is not part of the traditional series, the presence of this game’s heroes in SWGoH is a hint of the appearance of the third part of KotOR.
Jolie is a healer and is critical to Jedi teams due to an ability that removes all debuffs from target ally and resurrects fallen fellows. Another feature of the character is that he heals while causing damage. This makes him one of the most versatile healers in SWGoH.
The Mandalorian is a relatively new character and one of the few representatives of the Light Side. This hero is a powerful attacking unit with a unique disintegration ability. This skill instantly destroys the enemy. Enemy units defeated this way cannot be restored.
The Mandalorian’s leadership ability activates the fees of his bounty hunter allies, as well as his personal contract. This allows him to critically hit enemies 20 times while the buff is active. This ability makes this hero a powerful leader who can destroy enemy units in no time. Mando is a great departure from the stereotype that places hunters on the dark side.
General Skywalker is a brutal leader who interacts best with his 501st Clone Squadron. His leadership ability “General 501” gives the squadron unique buffs and abilities. The range of these possibilities covers almost any situation.: from an aggressive attack to a dull defense. General Skywalker also uses two skills per turn and deals enough damage to destroy enemy forces on his own.
This character can be unlocked in the epic encounter on Kamino, which requires a variety of ships and units from the Galactic Republic and the Separatists. Because of this, this hero is difficult to obtain, but its power is worth the effort.
Rey (Jedi Training)
There are several versions of Rey in SWGoH, as she is the protagonist of the sequel to the trilogy that has had a major impact on the video games of the Star Wars franchise. Rei (Jedi Training) is more powerful than Rei (Scavenger), but this character is incredibly difficult to get.
Our heroine is a “tank” of resistance and a leader who uses buffs and debuffs to gain an advantage over enemy units on the battlefield. Her special ability removes positive effects from enemy units and cancels the turn counter. This cannot be resisted. This skill is enhanced for each Resistance ally in its squad. As a character, Rey (Jedi Training) needs to complete the Hero’s Journey, which means that you should already have a competent teamto help her with this task.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is a perennial favorite of Star Wars fans. His appearance in “The Clone Wars” caused a furorand it might even be seen in a separate series. General Kenobi is the Jedi leader who also commands the Galactic Republic and the clones. He has many impressive passive and leadership skills.
This character is best used in Jedi or Clone teams, and works great with Ahsoka Tano and Jedi Knight Anakin, who do not suffer from damage penalties unlike other units. Kenobi summons allies to help him when he attacks, and changes allied debuffs to buffs. As the commander of the 212nd Regiment, his Leader ability gives his clone allies positive effects. This makes him a great replacement for Shaak Ti as squad leader. General Kenobi can only be obtained through guild raids.
Commander Luke Skywalker
Commander Luke Skywalker is a character from The Empire Strikes Back. Luke, already the leader of the rebels, possesses all imaginable unique abilities, although he is not a Jedi.
Commander’s ability “Rebel Maneuvers” aims to strengthen the defenses of its rebel allies and increase the chances of resisting the enemy. His special ability Call to Action allows him to ignore enemies, and also increases damage and critical strike chance. Finally, Commander Luke Skywalker overwhelms enemy troops with powerful attacks, having additional buffs. This character is revealed in his Hero’s Journey and requires all the main characters in A New Hope to be in the army.
Grand Master Yoda
Yoda is one of those characters that everyone knows. He became especially popular after the release of the series “The Mandalorian” and the appearance there of a child of the same race as the great master himself… Magister Yoda is a Jedi who gives allies powerful buffs and deals massive damage to enemy units. As a Jedi Master, he is also a leader. His ability “Grand Master’s Guide” grants Jedi allies a wide range of buffs and the ability to resist debuffs.
Grand Master Yoda is also immune to shock while in the leader slot. His special ability “Battle Meditation” gives positive effects to all his allies, not even Jedi. This makes the character the most flexible Light Side unit that can be integrated into any team. His legendary event “Grand Master’s Training” relatively easy to get through compared to others. All it takes to complete this event and collect enough shards to unlock the hero is five seven-star Jedi.
Padmé is a senator during the Clone Wars, and her diplomatic skills extend to the battlefield. She is considered a tough leader who inspires her allies and works especially well with Jedi or clones. Every time she attacks, her followers gain protection. It means that the longer Padmé is in combat, the more difficult it will be to defeat her team.
As a leader, she gives her allies courage, which increases their damage by 40% of the enemy’s health. Adding Padmé to the squad makes it incredibly secure and powerful during the attack. This feature makes it a worthy addition to any Light Side composition.
Jedi Knight Revan
Jedi Knight Revan, like Jolie, appears in Legends and not in the Star Wars canon. He was seen in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and was a prominent Jedi leader in the Republic’s war against the Mandalorians. His redemption ultimately led to the rise of Sith Lords like Darth Nihilus.
Jedi Knight Revan controls the battle and is able to destroy enemies with the speed of the wind. The special ability of the character “Master Strategist” deals damage to all enemies, and also heals all Jedi and allies of the Old Republicwhile the attacking spell deals heavy damage, imposes immunity to buffs and stuns the target enemy. Finally, Revan fits seamlessly into Jedi or Old Republic teams, making him more flexible than many other characters.
