Why can’t the computer see the GPU?

Once you’ve downloaded the driver, run its installer and follow the instructions on your screen. After installation, restart the PC, and then check whether the video card is displayed correctly or not.
“Of course I installed the driver!” – you could exclaim. Then you need to deal with reinstalling it: it could start working incorrectly. You can uninstall the driver through the Device Manager, however, we advise you to use a useful program such as Display Driver Uninstaller.

Method # 2 Checking PCI-E slot and video card power
Perhaps, last time you somehow incorrectly installed the video card in the PCI-E slot of your motherboard, or, for example, forgot to connect additional power to it (6, 6 + 2, 8-pin). You need to go to the official website of the motherboard manufacturer and find all the information you need there.
Here’s a quick example of resetting BIOS settings:
- restart the PC;
- press the button to enter the BIOS (for example, Del, F9 or F5);
- go to the “Exit” tab;
- select the “Load Optimized Defaults” option;

After a factory reset / BIOS update, go to Device Manager and see if your PC sees the connected video card.
Method # 4 Removing the latest Windows updates
