The game has received mostly positive reviews on Steam, however there are players who have complained about some technical issues with the game. Crashes, errors with the VCRUNTIME140.DLL file, low FPS and slowdowns, and even problems with the controller – all this is now pestering the owners of XCOM: Chimera Squad.

“Computer does not meet minimum system requirements” in XCOM: Chimera Squad

Players claim that after launching XCOM: Chimera Squad, they get an error stating that their computer does not meet the minimum system requirements. Most of these players are laptop owners.

  • install the latest version of video drivers;
  • disable all resource-intensive programs running in the background;
  • Connect your laptop (if available) to an electrical outlet and turn on high performance mode;
  • disable vertical sync in the game settings.
